About Me
Nice to meet you - I'm your new CPA - Carrie M Wissinger
After growing up in Delaware all my life (Dover/Hartly area), I went off to a much bigger city in Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Management Accounting from Johnson & Wales University. After graduating in 2016, I started working full time at a local family owned CPA firm. I went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Accounting from Wilmington University in 2017. Since then, I have had various roles from staff accountant to Business Entity Supervisor – each more rewarding and impactful than the last. My experience and thirst for knowledge allowed me to pass all four parts of the CPA exam on my first go, finally receiving the official CPA title in January 2022. I started my own CPA firm while still working full time at other CPA firms, operating under my maiden name Carrie M Haddick, CPA. After I got married in May 2025 and changed my last name, I officially opened Wissinger CPA in August 2025 and went full time with my firm in October 2025. I genuinely believe that I will be an asset to you and/or your business.
